DR. JENNIFER LIM
Our Laurier Optical Team is Growing - Meet Dr. Lim
Dr. Jennifer Lim grew up in Ottawa Ontario. She earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Ottawa and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree in Boston at the New England College of Optometry in 2018. In her final year, she was awarded the Inspiration Award from the American Optometric Association in for her achievements. Dr. Lim is an active member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), and Ottawa Society of Optometrist (OSO).
During her training in the United States, Dr. Lim worked at community health centers, U.S Veterans Affairs in New York, and at various surgical clinics alongside ophthalmologists. She gained extensive experience and knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of many ocular conditions.
Dr. Lim originally started her career in Hershey Pennsylvania. After a year of practice, she decided to move back to Ottawa, Ontario. She strongly believes that everyone should have access to affordable eye care and looks forward to growing and serving her community where she grew up. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and playing tennis!
