Chris Lane, the owner of Laurier Optical-Kemptville, is a dedicated professional in the field of opticianry. Originally from Morrisburg, Ontario, Chris graduated with Honours from the Georgian College Opticianry program in 1992. He obtained his license as a Registered Optician and Contact Lens fitter in 1993 from the College of Opticians.
Since 1993, Chris has been an integral part of Laurier Optical, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the optical industry. In 2000, he took the significant step of purchasing the Laurier Optical-Kemptville location, further solidifying his position in the field.
In recognition of his hard work and dedication, Chris was awarded the Mel Johnston Established Business of the Year in 2011. Moving to North Grenville in 2001, he has embraced the small-town country living and found a sense of community in the area.
Outside of his professional life, Chris enjoys a variety of hobbies including curling, boating, snowmobiling, travel, and spending peaceful moments at the cottage with his dog. These interests outside of work showcase Chris as a well-rounded individual who values both adventure and relaxation in his life.
